Robin and the Hoods – Feature Film (Summer 2023)

In the summer of 2023, I worked on the feature film Robin and the Hoods as part of the art department, with the role of Dressing Props. My work also encompassed elements of prop making and set decorating, collaborating closely with a talented team to bring the world of the film to life.

The project presented some unique challenges. Central to the story is a “kingdom” created by the children—a medieval village complete with treehouses and rope bridges—that exists alongside the stark reality of their everyday surroundings, filled with found objects like old tyres, road cones, and bits of detritus. This duality meant that every set required two versions: the gritty, real-world space, and the magical, imagined version brought to life through careful dressing, detailing, and inventive thinking.

I worked across all sets alongside a team of 15+, helping to transform both the real and fantasy worlds into immersive, believable spaces that captured the children’s imagination and the film’s unique tone.
