House of Artistique – Miniature Design & Commissions

I’ve always been fascinated by miniatures—perhaps it started with my childhood days building elaborate Lego creations. In 2010, that curiosity evolved into experimenting with dolls’ houses, blending my love of architecture with the joy of working on a small, detailed scale. Miniatures allow me to craft beautiful, imaginative designs that are both accessible and affordable.

Through meeting fellow miniaturist Lauren Hicks, we launched House of Artistique as our creative trading name. Over the next few years, we took on a range of commissions, from intricate pieces for existing dolls’ houses to entire large-scale houses. Our showstopper, the Artistique Barn, debuted at the 2012 Kensington Dolls House Festival: a 1:12 scale barn conversion complete with our signature whimsical details—including a miniature workshop where a dolls’ house was being built in miniature!

We sold our creations through Etsy and directly to private clients, delighting in the bespoke nature of each piece. The skills and techniques I honed during this period—attention to fine detail, creative problem-solving, and miniature storytelling—have since translated seamlessly into model making for events, film, and TV projects, bringing imagination to life on every scale.
